Not sure it is a bird,

The only ID we have established is a small yipping sound. It is very much like a very small puppy. It yips for a series of yips, (6 to 12+). It can be from early morning to late evening. When we go to investigate; it stops. At first we thought it was a small animal in distress. We have been unable to establish this. It has been going on for over two weeks. We have many birds in our back yard. We have seen some fly out from under our deck when we go to investigate.
I have been listening to bird sounds on the web and that is where I found your page. I plan to continue that as soon as I submit this message.
Thank you,
Regards,
“Zac”
