Looked out my window at my one of my feeders this morning and found a beautiful surprise. A male Rose Breasted Grossbeak was enjoying a late breakfast/early lunch. I didnt even know what it was until I looked it up on line. This is amazing, I'm hoping he becomes a regular and maybe I'll even get to see the female. (Too bad I didnt have my camera handy)

I have identified the yellow shafted flicker in my backyard . We have several of them feeding on the lawn. It looks like they are pulling out grubs.
