I'm fortunate to have a YBS all year round and enjoy his feeding in a maple tree just off my 3rd floor balcony. For the last couple of days, he's taken to a pine tree and has carved 3 rows of about 8 stripes each. My other enjoyment from him (probably them) was this past winter. After they fed on the maple, other birds followed behind to get the left-overs. Seeing birds that normally perch, trying to be vertical without something to sit on was delightful. Thanks YBS for your entertainment and helping the other birds survive the unusual winter weather in Atlanta.
