would like to know what kind of bird this is, could not find in bird book. About the size of a finch or sparrow.

It looks like you have a partial albino house finch based upon the other bird at the back of the feeder.

it may be a house finch that has been born with white feathers on it's head/part albino. I am not sure if this is right though. =)
