white head bird size of robin

by Laura
(Palos Park, IL)

A bird with a white head, size of big robin, though not as "fat". The feathers on head were standing up in a mohawk fashion. Light gray underbelly, brownish body....looked like a baby eagle.

Was spotted in Palos Park, IL....45 min southwest of downtown Chicago, flying with Robins, sparrows, a pair of doves, a pair of cardinals, flocking from tree to tree.

Comment:
The mohawk description makes me think it might be a Tufted Titmouse.
