What's up with the Orioles this year

For years I have fed the Baltimore Orioles, nectar, orange halves and grape jelly, they always arrive the same time each May around Mother's Day. As usual they did so this year and then after about a week they disappeared. Now they are at my neighbors, who only feeds wild brd seed. I have it all out and they do not come to my feeders, why, I keep them very clean and food changed often.Why is it so different this year?

I don't know Bev. Even birds must think the grass is always greener on the other side...

I bet they will come back to your feeders. It would be interesting to test putting out wild bird feed and see if they return to your yard.
