We just recently found this baby bird, however, we are not familiar with birds. I would really like to find out what bird this is..It basically leaves a t our house because it can't fly yet and it seems like this bird is used to humans because usually they fly away from you when you approach it but this one runs to you instead.

Your birds looks like our bird and we believe he is a Cooper's Hawk. Our little one also likes humans and thinks I am his mother. He eats out of our hands and like to sit on our shoulders. We made a bird house out of a cardboard box and I put a teddy bear in there to keep him company. He curls up with the teddy bear and sleeps all night. Look at my post Hawk you will see a picture of him.
