What type of bird is this?

A friend of mine found this little guy on a trail in the woods...
unfortunately he was dead. He was found on Feb.9th/2011 in the Bonavista North area of Newfoundland.

Yes, I do think this is a golden crowned kinglet!
Most likely a male because of the orange color on its head.
