Building the Nursery

We have 2 little birds getting their new home ready outside our kitchen window. They sing really pretty and it appears the little fat one is the female carrying eggs and the male is hurrying to get the new house ready. We would love to know what they are they are so cute!

hi, brcause it looks so blue, it could be a mountain bluebird, it has a range on the coast, breeds from bc and alberta south to baja. it prefers nesting holes in old trees, but this hole looks like it may do. the male has rusty red breast. female is sooty gray above with dull blue wings and tail. please let me know if i,m right. thanks, cute bird!

hi karen, i looked for quite some time but can,t exactly place it. does it have any light yellow on it,s chin? is it really gray on top, and blueish gray on chest and belly?

it looks like it could be warbler,or wood peewee, but i can,t tell. does it have an eyering? does it appear like it,s hunting insects?
