What kind of baby birds are these?

by Donna
(Michigan)

I rescued these 2 babies from a park. They were very weak, crops were empty and they were just a few feet from a lake under a bunch of hanging trees on the ground. They had lots of pin feathers with bright orange feathers on their chest. They have done wonderful on soaked dog food and have developed a lot of feathers now. Their chest is a golden brown color now. When they open their mouths they have a pink/red throat. I was thinking orioles but now I am unsure. Any ideas? I live in Michgian.
