What is this bird?????

It was the size of a larger sparrow and the body was charcoal grey...not black and the head was all a dull orange, not bright!

Unless someone from your area can ID this bird, we will need more information. What was it doing, was it eating off the ground, a suet cage, or on a hanging feeder? was it singing and what did it sound like? was it clinging to the side of a tree? did you notice it beak/bill shape? Anything else that you can possible think of might help, what you have described is extremely vague.Ideally a good picture is the best.
