What is this bird?

(England)

I walk my dog in some nearby fields every day. Recently I have noticed a lot of mangled, rabbit carcasses. There are also rabbit organs, fur and legs scattered around too. Today I saw a bird of prey flying around. I think its responsible. It is quite big. It is a bright golden-red-brown color on its back head and wings. Its wing tips are black and its under belly is white-grey colored. Its NOT a peregrine falcon. What could it be?
