Great photo! You can see four spotted eggs. That is a Killdeer. And that is the sound it makes; kill-dee!

Do you have a telescopic lens? If not, I'm amazed she let you that close to her nest. Often the killdeer will feign injury to lead you away from the nest.

    A relative went to HB class. They found it is safe and more effective to use 2 water to 1 sugar. I use 4 cups of boiling water into 2 cups sugar.
