there are a flock of them that perch together and they make like a jungle bird type call

 Black bellied Tree Duck?

Hi Kae! What a great photo of a beautiful and unusual looking bird. I just had to look it up. I beleive it is a Black Bellied Tree Duck. Here is a website that will tell you all about it.
