Visiting Lake Bird

I first saw the bird the second week of September 2011 while it was perched high up in the trees along the shore near Twin Coves at Lake Pomme de Terre in Missouri, USA. Though I can't be certain, it seems to stay within a two to three-mile radius of where I first spotted it. It has a mask across its eyes.

Looks like an osprey - no doubt on its migration route south.
