Virginia Beach

I have dwarfed crab apple tree in my back yard that birds love to visit. This year I hung a dish type of bird feeder from he tree and filled it with wild bird seed. It looks like n all you can eat buffet out there! We have so many different types of birds sharing it. We have Doves, Cardinals, Blue Jays, Starlings, finches and for the first time yesterday we saw this adorable Black Capped Chickadee. We were amazed at how it flew almost like a hummingbird! I wanted to go to the dish but it was afraid of a dove that was eating so it just kept zooming in and out of the branches until it had its chance. We seem to be getting more and more specie of birds here with each passing year. I assume it is due to the climate changes. I really hope we we get to see this cute little bird again!
