Grey Bird with dark black bib

Grey Bird with dark black bib

We have been feeding and watching bird for years, but this one is new to me.

I saw him hopping on the ground near the robin. He's about the size of a robin. He has a long beak, grey body with speckled breast, yellow stripe on his wings and the most amazine black bib. My husband looked at the picture and thought he was some kind of dove.
Can anyone help identify him? Thanks.

I believe the bird in the background is a Northern Flicker. Learn more here.
