Unknown Flock of Birds - Southeastern NC

by Ron
(Leland, NC, USA)

I live in southeastern NC. The back of our lot is heavily wooded and backs up to a creek. A flock of large birds has been showing up early morning and late afternoon to feed on corn seeds that my neighbor has put out. Can you identify the species? Thanks!
