probably a Junco

There are several kinds of Juncos, most eat off of the ground and have a funny little scratch when they eat, sort of a backwards jump. They love snow, always come at the first snowfall. Once in a while, they will eat from a feeder if they are hungry enough.

could it be a junco? very cute tiny bird, often some of the first ones to my feeders.

could you please give me more info? was it black, gray or white tail or back. could you see what it was doing? did you see it in a tree, and, if so, what kind, or at your feeder, or in the lawn? i couldn,t pin it down when i was looking.
