Unknown Bird

This bird has been living around our house for about a month now. It was after we had this big storm. But anyways, he has long legs, a grayish colored body with white spots. The beak is medium length, and has red/orange eyes. What kind of bird is this? What should I do about him? He seems very out of place here.
