UNIDENTIFIED BLUEBIRD

The bird that I saw was a bright brilliant blue all over except its head was purple and it had a bright yellow beak almost looked like the beak of a finch. I think its eyes were black. It had the body of a sparrow and when it flew it reminded you of a sparrow. There was a little bit of black pattern on its wings but not much. I have never seen a bird like this in my area so it really stuck out. I have looked in all my bird books and cannot find it. I am sorry but it flew away before I could take pictures. I live in Allen County, Ohio.

I think it might be an Indigo Bunting. Google a few pictures and see if that is it. Found some with yellowish beak. Beautiful bird!
