MY PICTURE A RED BACKED SHRIKE

Hello,

I was birdwatching in my garden the other day and saw a bird fly onto a nearby tree. I reached for my camera and took a picture. As I was looking at the picture I realized that I had never seen it before. When I looked back up it had gone. I have been on a website and the closest match to what I can see is a red-backed shrike, but I became immediately suspicious when i noticed that this bird was very rare. Can you help me?

The bird has a white breast and brownish wings. it appears to have a blue head with a black patch on its face. Compare it to the picture of a red backed shrike and tell me if you think it's a match.

Thanks a lot

Connor

Good work on getting a photo, but I'm sorry Connor, it is simply too hard to confirm what it is from the picture. Exciting though - if it is a Red-backed Shrike!
