Type of Bird?

by Kenny Hughes
(Indianapolis, Ind USA)

It sits out atop of my tomatoe stakes in the garden. Its top side is all black except at the tail and it has a narrow white band at he tail tips, The tail kinda looks squared off, The belly is all white. The bird looks to be the size of slender robin, And he seems to get along with our restident Mockingbird...I'm in Indianapolis, Ind
