Trying to key out a little bird in Easton Massachusetts..

This little bird has a white head with black vertical stripes, and has four or so black stripes horizontal on his wings. About the size of a Cedarwaxwing.

Looks like a downy woodpecker - one of my favorite woodpeckers. They were the first bird to find our habitat; before it was a habitat!
