Tiny Bird In My House

by Denise
(Alsea, OR, USA)

This little bird got into my home today (10/9/12) and fluttered around a bit before I caught him in the corner of a window. The pic is of him sitting on my kitchen sink window resting in between the 4 times I caught him/her and the 3 times he/she escaped my cupped hands. I live 35 miles from Corvallis, OR and 35 miles from Waldport on the coast. Just wondered what variety of bird this precious little visitor was.

Hi Denise. I looked in my book "Birds of the Puget Sound Region". I think it is a Winter Wren.
