Starlings Be Gone

You can use either of the lists of ingredients to make the final product, which can be used if you have problems with starlings:

List 1:
2 parts rendered beef suet, melted
3 parts white or yellow cornmeal

OR

List 2:
1 part peanut butter
2 parts rendered beef suet, melted
4 parts finely cracked corn
4 parts white or yellow cornmeal

Mix ingredients together. Pour into temporary storage containers and let harden.
After mixture has hardened completely, re-melt the mixture.
Pour into molds of the appropriate sizes for your feeders and let re-harden.

*Melting the mixture a second time increased the hardness of the finished product. This will make it less attractive to starlings.
