Here is a video of one of my 25 squirrels! In this video we are looking out of our front livingroom window and a squirrel is watching us watch him.
To the right is a 100 gallon pond (hidden by bushes) and way out to the street to the right is my Pileated woodpecker feeder. In the center are my squirrel feeders(on the tree a red tractor and squirrel box) and to the right of that tree is another squirrel feeder box. These squirrel boxes are 10 feet from our window. Our window is 7 feet tall and 14 feet wide. So the birds and squirrels are putting on a show every day. I have 8-17 squirrels everyday, at one time, at these locations in my front yard. I like to watch the blue jays sneak into the squirrel boxes and take out corn or peanuts. The Titmouse does the same. I hope to eventually be able to hand feed the birds and the squirrels. There are 8 bird feeders in this video and in the back I have 9.
Sorry for rambling on but i wanted you to know my setup in case you have any suggestions on how to better my birding hobby. Oh my ducks that came for 5 weeks last July would fly in from down the street and land right under my feeders to the left there and my porch is just 8 feet from that bird feeder station. The ducks I believe raised their young just to the left and behind the center tree there, in the flowers there.
I really enjoyed watching your videos. You have a lovely large yard, and I like your setup. My yard is fenced and a lot smaller. My feeders are hanging from the eaves over our deck in front of windows and a squirrel feeder at the other end of the yard. I have just uploaded my squirrel video and will share it here, too.
