Squeaky Bed Springs Bird Call

Duck like appearance. Loud call as though a child is jumping up and down on a squeaky old-fashioned bedspring. That bed spring would have a microphone along side because the call was very loud! Looked all around the ground thinking it was right near me, then overhead, two duck/scoter like birds overhead calling in flight.

june 2017 . a yellow flicker hit the window of the house. was stunned for half hour then started to come to. looks like it broke leg couldn't fly . taken

Our dog actually stumbled upon this little cutie. It didn't fly away when we walked up to see what the all the fuss was about. That lead me to believe
