Yes, uncommon, rare, unimaganible! (I have been birding for 45+ years) Grew up in Minnesota, am aware of the Rose Breasted Grosbeak. Broke out bird book, and camera, flew off feeder before a pic! On finch feeder, others flew away due to size, superiority...waiting for a return visit...

Had a Java Sparrow a few years ago

Not called Misfit Ranch for nothing here, kind of like Dr. Doolittles

Grosbeak was a male

It was a male, very identifiable, per the Rose Breasted Grosbeak Hoping he will visit again, camera on the ready!

    It is grey with a long beak and a white ring around it's neck. The bird is about the size of a dove and I live in Florida near the Georgia line.
