Song Sparrow Confusion

Song Sparrow 1

This winter I was trying to capture on camera and identify all the birds that visited my backyard. I'm fairly certain one of these birds was a Song Sparrow. But then I photographed another sparrow sized bird that I'm not sure what it is. It has a distinct breast patch like a Song Sparrow yet looks a bit different. It's smaller than a female Red-wing Blackbird. I am stumped and hoping someone can help me.

Judy if you can not identify it . . . what makes you think any of us have a shot? LOL

But seriously I have no idea but I am pretty sure if you can not definitively id it that I have little chance of doing so. I would have just called it a song sparrow and I would have been done. Sorry I can not help but let us know if you come up with a different identification!

Good Luck!
