Small perching bird with red/rust breast

The bird I saw perched on a bush branch, facing the walking path is small to very small. Whitish gray belly with pronounced u-shaped reddish breast. I think it's head is black or near black and it's back is gray.

It's a rounded shape like a Towhee. Saw this on the Pinevale path in Stark co. Ohio, today, April 18, 2018
