Small but loud bird?

4 inch tan bird with light breast. Nest in bird house on deck near lake. Male and female look similar. Very loud. Sharp dark beak. No ring around beady dark eye.

I'd say it is some type of Wren. Look up Wrens that are in your area of the country. There are quite a few types of wrens.
