September addition to the feeder

Eating Niger seed with the Goldfinches. Arrived 2 days ago,9-3-11 in NE Pennsylvania. Approx 1" longer than the Goldfinch, tail deeply "V" One seems to be starting a dark "collar." Feet are buff and beak is simular to the finch. Pattern of wing bars while eating is beautiful. Could we have a Western Tanager visiting?
