SE TX Gulf Coast area.

This morning I saw a flock of red winged black birds, a wren, and a cowbird at my feeders in Groves/Port Arthur, TX. The strangest thing though was a black bird the size of a cow bird but yet it had golden stripes that went horizontally across its wings? I have never seen such a bird in my entire 48 years of living and have never seen a grackle which looked like that either. Any ideas?

Maybe it was a female red-wing
