Scarlet Tananger

(Bandera, TX)

We have this red bird with black wings (pretty sure it is a Tananger) that keeps flying around our windows. What is he looking for. Is there something we should do for him?

He very well may be seeing his reflection in the windows and think it another male bird infringing on his territory. Be sure to put decals every 4" to 6" on all of the windows because he may try attacking his reflection and hurt himself banging into the window. He will also make a lot of noise!
