safe keeping babies nest from prey

Is keeping a feeder 15' from nest harming or attracting prey? I heard it helped momma so she wouldn't have to travel far or exposse babies to prey. I have plenty of natural flowers nearby, however felt this would help her.

There are 2 babies in the nest that appear to be ready in about a week to take flight. Many crows are in our area. Nest is somewhat sheltered inlet on front porch.

Please advise asap...thanks.

getting rid of crows
by: Anonymous

When the crows come to my yard I have my water pressure high & my garden hose with a jet stream spray near by. I turn on the hose & wait for them to come close and spray them with the jet stream....they hate it! This has helped the crows stat away from our hummingbird & wren nests.
