Sad-Rare bird hit the window

I live in St George UT. During the winter, I look forward to a visit by a Rufous Sided Towhee. A brilliant colored bird. Recently I saw one. Then, a bird hit my window very hard. It died. It was the Towhee. We really need some way to invisibly color our windows to our eyes but to a bird make them opaque.
