rusty tufted head

size of a robin, rusty brown, tufted head, darker conical bill, no brighter colors noted & just a pair on the ground under my feeders. I thought it was a cedar waxwing but no yellows or reds in feathers.

I think we figured it out. pretty sure it is an immature cardinal- seems to be getting a little redder now. Just never saw one before.
