the rose breasted grosbeaks showed up right on time again in Maryland, every year for the first week in may we have them, this year we have 4 males and 3 females hanging around. They are feeding from the hanging mixed feeders of mostly black oil sunflower seeds with some nuts and meal worms added. They must just pass through every year, after may 10th or so, we do not see them at all.
