Rosebreasted Grosbeaks Mr. Calm

(soutwest Ohio)

My male Rose-breasted Grosbeak arrives at my red Heritage sunflower seed feeder nightly, amongst the flurry of the sparrows, cardinals and black birds and doves only to sit and eat and to watch the others scurrying around him.

He takes his time and eats and watches all these other creatures milling about.

He seems to be a mild-mannered and laid back fellow compared to the others.
