Rose Breasted Grosebeak Visit

I live in Seneca, Il the Illinois River. Don't believe I've ever seen these birds before. Saw one from a distance the other day and mistook it for a woodpecker..

Today it came and perched on the crook of a shepherd's hook about 8 feet from my window. I swear he "posed" for me.

He was interested in the humming bird feeder but I'm going to go for the black oiled sunflower seeds tomorrow.. Hope we have more than one pair around here and I can lure them to my garden.
