We have a male and female coming to our feeder with black sunflower seeds. We have never seen these birds here before. They showed up the last week in April, 2015. They generally will be at the feeder early in the morning and late afternoon before dusk. What a beautiful bird they are. We live in Knoxville, Tennessee and enjoy watching them. I hope they stay around for the summer.
