Rose Breasted Grosbeaks, western NJ

by Al Wagner
(Hampton, NJ)

I have had male and female Rose Breasted Grosbeaks return to my feeders for the last 4 years. They usually arrive in early May. Three males, and two females were on the feeders last week.

I have two feeders in front of the kitchen window filled with black oil sunflower seeds. The birds stay all summer.

Aren't you lucky to have them all summer long to enjoy!
