Rose Breasted Grosbeak in Essexville, MI.

by Carole Sundquist
(Essexville, MI.)

I have been feeding birds in my backyard since 1988 and I saw this beautiful bird eating black oiled sunflower seeds on a cardinal flat feeder. I had to look it up in my bird book. At first I thought it was a woodpecker but checking my smartphone, it was this gorgeous rose Breasted Grosbeak. Hope it comes back.
