This guy really took us by surprise today. You just never know when a Red Tailed Hawk is going to use your birdbath for a little drink.

Baby hawks

We kept seeing a hawk flying around back in the spring. I finally found the nest and got some pics of the babies before they left the nest. I will post a picture of them. It's amazing indeed what you can see. We put in a fountain and not only do the birds love it, so do the squirrels!
