Red-beaked bird nesting near house.

A tan bird with a red beak is nesting in our backyard right by the deck. She has black around her eye, and a little red on the back of her head and her wing and/or tail feathers. At first we thought it was a scarlet tananger, but our books don't show the tananger with a red beak. Can you tell me what this is?
