This all-over beige bird landed briefly on my deck near the beach. medium bright red beak and long beige tuft. Gone in an instant but who was it??

Comment;
Likely it was a female cardinal.

Susan,

I looked at photos of female cardinals. My bird differed in having a long thin beak and bright! red, plus more tuft.
