Raw eggs

Are raw eggs safe for wild birds? I put one raw egg in my cornmeal mush thing for the birds. I only put out a little and saved to rest for later. I would like to know if raw eggs are un-safe and if i should take it down. ( I hope not because I put walnuts in it!) Thanks

Absolutely. Raw food is fine for birds - that's what they eat! (I have recently switched to a 75% raw diet and feel much healthier.)
