Pretty visitor.

(Indianapolis)

It was about 6:15PM and I was watching my feeder which has black oil sunflower seed on it. Cardinals and chickadees were feeding. All of a sudden I saw a beautiful bird I did not recognize near the feeder on the grass.

Getting on google I found what it was, the male black headed Grosbeak. He did not get on the feeder but was flitting around on a grassy area near the feeder that I had dumped the left over seed from an almost empty feeder on to before I filled it.

I live in Indianaplis, IN.
