My friend said this bird flew into her window and she hasn't seen this bird and I'm not familiar with it either but she said it has a freckled belly and slightly orange under the throat...

It would appear that this is a bird that belongs to the sparrow family.

There are many different varieties of sparrows with a variety of different markings.

Possibly a swamp sparrow based on white marking near eye and orange and speckled color??
